Teresa Neuman will serve as the new Director of National Sales, Natural Channel and Charles Tate as the new Director of National Sales, FDMC, reporting to the EVP of Retail, Renee Barch-Niles.

In the last year, WR Group has launched six healthy lifestyle brands in over 10,000 doors throughout the United States, increasing the company’s market visibility and exposure to consumers. The addition of top-rated talent with experience in the health, wellness and natural channels positions WR Group to continue providing national and regional clients with the highest level of attention to detail and professional expertise possible.

Brands in the natural channel of trade have generated a lot of interest both online and in the marketplace. By bringing in new team members like Neuman and Tate, who have a true passion for natural health and wellness, these brands are set to thrive and expand.

In addition to her passion for natural products, Neuman has over 15 years in the business of selling CPG goods to the natural industry. She is also a Certified Holistic Health Coach focused on helping people make lifestyle changes through nutrition and healthy living choices. Neuman has worked for large natural leaders in the space like The Hain Celestial Group and most recently worked with superfoods as the Director of Sales, East, for Natierra and its associated brands.

Her experience as both a consumer and seller of natural lifestyle products gives her a unique perspective to support the aggressive growth plan that WR Group has built for 2020 and beyond.

“Joining WR Group was an easy decision,” states Neuman, “as I knew that I could help the organization better serve the Natural & Organic channel of trade, as that channel is hungry for high-quality, natural products like BareOrganics Superfoods, Probiogen Probiotics and the patented line of organic Whitening products under the Oralgen NuPearl brand. It was a natural fit to take this leadership role!”

Tate comes to WR Group with over 20 years servicing the largest North American retailers for some of the greatest powerhouse CPG companies in the world, including Gillette, Procter & Gamble and most recently served as Vice President of Sales for L’Oréal. Tate has also led large private label sales achievements in his career with one of the leading health and beauty private label manufacturers.

His decades of experience adapting to changes in shopper insights, trade marketing and sales, among other areas, makes him an asset to the WR Group team that will be invaluable as we seek to expand our uniquely high-quality brands and products to even more customers throughout the United States.
